About Pine River Landing

We are a full-service coaching and organisational development consultancy based in Kampala, Uganda. We offer executive coaching, leadership development programmes, team collaboration workshops, workplace communication training, and structured mentoring programmes. All our services are tailored to the Ugandan and East African professional context.

We were founded in 2014, making us one of Uganda's longest-standing coaching and consulting firms. Over the past 12 years, we have served more than 500 clients across 15+ industries, from SMEs and startups to government ministries and multinational organisations.

Yes. All our coaches hold internationally recognised credentials from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Our coaching team includes ACC (Associate Certified Coach), PCC (Professional Certified Coach), and MCC (Master Certified Coach) credential holders. Our Managing Director, Grace Namukasa, holds an ICF-PCC, and our Director of Coaching, David Ssali, is one of only 12 ICF-MCC coaches in Uganda.

Absolutely not. We work with individuals, small and growing businesses, NGOs, and large corporations. We believe every professional deserves access to world-class coaching, regardless of the size of their organisation. We have individual coaching packages designed for solo professionals and programmes scaled for teams of 5 to 500+.

Yes. We have offices in Kampala (Ntinda), Jinja, and Gulu, and we regularly deliver programmes across Uganda including in Mbarara, Fort Portal, Mbale, and Masaka. We also offer virtual coaching and training sessions, which means we can work with clients anywhere in Uganda, East Africa, or globally.

The Coaching Process

Coaching is a future-focused, non-directive process where the coach uses powerful questions to help you discover your own answers, build self-awareness, and achieve specific goals. Mentoring is a relationship where a more experienced person shares their knowledge, experience, and advice with someone less experienced. Both are valuable — coaching builds self-discovery; mentoring provides guidance and direct knowledge transfer. At Pine River Landing, we offer both.

This depends on your goals. Our executive coaching programmes run for 3, 6, or 12 months, with sessions typically held monthly (60–90 minutes per session). For specific, focused goals, a 3-month engagement (4 sessions) may suffice. For deeper leadership transformation, we recommend 6–12 months. We always begin with a free 30-minute discovery call to understand your situation and recommend the right programme length.

Absolutely. All coaching conversations are strictly confidential. We adhere to the ICF Code of Ethics, which requires coaches to maintain complete confidentiality of all information shared by clients. In an organisational context (where a company pays for employee coaching), we only share general thematic trends — never specific client content — and only with prior agreement.

Yes. We offer coaching via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp Video, and telephone. Many of our clients across Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda coach virtually with excellent results. Virtual coaching is just as effective as in-person coaching when both parties are fully engaged.

Our Programmes & Offerings

LAP is our flagship 6-month cohort-based leadership development programme for mid-to-senior managers. It runs twice per year (March and September intakes) and combines monthly masterclasses, peer coaching circles, and individual coaching sessions. Participants graduate with an internationally recognised certificate and a transformed leadership approach. It is the most comprehensive leadership programme available in Uganda.

Fees & Payment

Our pricing varies depending on the service, programme duration, and number of participants. Individual coaching starts from UGX 850,000 per session. Group programmes and organisational interventions are priced based on scope. We strongly believe in value-based pricing and are happy to discuss options that fit your budget.
