From Kampala to East Africa
Pine River Landing Consulting was founded in 2014 by a group of passionate organisational development practitioners who saw a gap in Uganda's professional development landscape. Operating from a modest office in Ntinda, Kampala, we began with executive coaching for a handful of local business leaders.
Over twelve years, we have grown into a full-service consulting firm with offices in Kampala, Jinja, and Gulu. Our team of 24 certified coaches, trainers, and consultants has served over 500 professionals across 15+ industries — from government ministries and international NGOs to manufacturing companies and technology startups.
Our name was inspired by the rivers of Uganda — the Nile, the Kagera, the Katonga. Like a river that finds its path through the landscape, we believe growth happens when you have the right channels, the right guidance, and the patience to persist through challenges.

Founded in Ntinda, Kampala
Opened our first office and welcomed our founding 20 clients — pioneering professional coaching in Uganda's capital.
Leadership Accelerator Launched
Launched our flagship Leadership Accelerator Programme, which has since transformed the careers of hundreds of managers across Uganda.
Expansion to Jinja
Opened our Jinja office and forged a landmark partnership with the Uganda Management Institute, extending our reach to the eastern region.
Virtual Coaching During COVID-19
Pivoted seamlessly to virtual coaching and delivered programmes to 120+ clients online, proving that geography is no barrier to growth.
Gulu Office & Northern Outreach
Opened our Gulu office and began the Northern Uganda Outreach Programme, bringing world-class coaching to underserved communities.
